How is this different from a broken-link checker?
Link checkers answer “is it 200?”. RotSweep answers “is it still the page you meant?” — following redirects to the end and fingerprinting the content, so it catches a site silently moving, rewriting or gutting the page behind a working URL.
Won’t I get flooded with alerts?
No email is sent when nothing changed. We retry before flagging to absorb blips, and once you accept a new destination as correct it stops being reported. The default is one daily roll-up, however often we sweep.
Does a project have to be one website?
No. A project is just a category. One project can hold links pointing at fifty different domains — that’s the normal case.
What happens if I hit my URL limit?
Existing links keep being swept, always. You just can’t add new ones until you upgrade or add a capacity pack — €3 for 250 more on Daily Sweep. We never bill you a surprise overage.
Do I need the expensive plan for content drift?
No. Add it to the €5 plan for €6/month if your list is small. Deep Sweep bundles it with 7.5× the URLs, 6-hourly sweeps and the sitemap scanner — but the capability itself is never locked behind a big jump.
Is there a free plan?
No — Daily Sweep and Deep Sweep can start with a 14-day trial (a card is required and charged when it ends), and the entry plan is €5/month. Full Sweep is pay-now. If a subscription lapses your workspace goes read-only rather than being deleted, and we keep your data for 30 days.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU, on infrastructure we run ourselves. We’re a Greek company, so GDPR isn’t a compliance exercise for us — it’s just the law we live under.
