Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RotSweep, a service operated by NEGLETEK, a software company based in Athens, Greece (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or workspace you agree to them. If you use RotSweep on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.

1. The service

RotSweep monitors URLs you configure and reports when they break, redirect to a different destination, or — on plans that include content drift — no longer contain the content you accepted as their baseline. Monitoring is performed on a schedule with retries, and results are best-effort observations of third-party websites we do not control: we work hard to detect meaningful changes, but we cannot guarantee that every change is caught or that every flag is significant.

2. Accounts and workspaces

Sign-in is provided through our authentication provider. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Workspaces are the billing and team boundary; a workspace always has at least one owner, and the last owner cannot leave a workspace, only delete it.

3. Plans, trials and billing

Billing is per workspace, quoted in euros excluding VAT, and metered on monitored URLs — team seats are never charged. Annual plans cost ten times the monthly price. Upgrades take effect immediately and the difference is prorated onto your next invoice; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period.

NEGLETEK is the seller of record for your subscription and issues your invoice. VAT is charged at the rate of your billing country. If you are a business in the EU outside Greece and give us a valid VAT identification number, the reverse charge applies and we do not charge VAT — enter that number at checkout or in the billing portal, where it is verified. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach our systems.

Daily Sweep and Deep Sweep may start with a 14-day trial. A payment method is required at signup and is charged when the trial ends. Full Sweep is pay-now only, and additional workspaces cannot be trialed. If a subscription lapses the workspace becomes read-only: sweeps stop, your data stays visible, and nothing is deleted.

Plan limits are hard stops, never overage billing. At your URL limit, the URLs you already monitor keep being swept — only adding more is blocked until you upgrade or add a capacity pack. We will never send you a surprise invoice. Billing questions: finance@rotsweep.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• monitor only publicly accessible URLs;
• not use the service to harass, overload, attack or disrupt any third-party website, or to circumvent access controls;
• not attempt to circumvent plan limits, resell access without agreement, or interfere with the operation of the service;
• only add alert recipients who have agreed to receive the emails you configure for them;
• use the service in compliance with applicable law.

Our crawler identifies itself as RotSweep by default and paces its requests per target domain. You may opt a specific URL into a browser-like fetch when a host refuses our crawler. We may throttle, limit or refuse sweeps that would make us a bad citizen of the web, and we may suspend workspaces that violate this section.

5. Your content

The URLs, tags, projects and recipient lists you configure remain yours. You grant us the right to process them as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. You are responsible for having the right to monitor the URLs you configure.

6. Availability

We operate the service with care but provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. A contractual SLA is available on the Enterprise plan — contact sales@rotsweep.com.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost commissions from broken affiliate links, or SEO effects — arising from use of the service or from changes we did or did not detect. Our total liability for any claims in a 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the paid period, and delete your workspace at any time. Deleting a workspace also cancels its subscription at the end of the paid period — no further charge is made — and schedules permanent deletion of its data 30 days later. We may suspend or terminate workspaces for material breach of these terms or non-payment, with notice where reasonable.

9. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. For material changes to the terms we will notify account holders by email before they take effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, and disputes belong to the courts of Athens — without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence within the EU.
